I notice, reading a few of these threads, that several of you call your bike by a name.

why is this ? does it always have to be a girl's name?

what can I call a bright yellow VFR ?

I realize that quite literally your bike is an extension of you, unlike a car where you just sit, and sit, and sit etc

Comments ???  Thumbs Up

Mine is called Roxy, and it is what came to me when I went to buy her.

Mind I know a lad whose bike is called Kevin,

My ZZR11 is called Blodwyn (the ballistic barge), she is a big mental bruiser. Not found an appropriate name for my SVthou yet but she does tickle my giggle-stick and is a bit silly.

Never have named a bike . Although after a good ride out, I do find myself giving 'her' a nice stroke and a pat on the seat . Also ,,, an occasional peck on the petrol tank.

Ahh , why can't women be as reliable as an 'onda.
