think the screws stay in for life , will ask when i go for check up in 2 weeks .   Got my step-daughter looking after me Kath , she's been a real star , and the drunken dancing shall resume in the not too distant future , prob at East Leeds Lions.

week 4 , been for x-ray , healing well so no need for replacement Thumbs Up  however have got another 8 weeks on crutches b4 they'll let me put weight on it Thumbs Down

Only just heard of this Dugald...2 months will fly by, probably wont remember how to put weight on it !! Will try & sort some stabilisers for the bike when you're back on itLOL.

1st ride on the Bandit today , only 3 mile quick blast on Ripon bypass , no pain when riding Thumbs Up  bit o a struggle getting on at 1st , got heel stuck on seat when getting off again .   got to go for a check-up in June as there are still conserns about the blood supply to the balljoint , hopefully all will be good or it's back in for hip-replacement
