Hi   Is anybody going down Valencia for the last GP, its my first big ride and would like to join up for all or part of the way down. Plan to camp or cheap hotels, any advise, tips etc would be a great help. Booked on Portsmonth-Bilbao Sunday 30th ferry.   Bikerblue102

My tip is keep clear of Madrid. The ringroad is hell at the wrong time of day.

Hi to everybody   Just to let you know i got to Valencia and back in one piece, the only let down was the weather, all of Spain, Southern France and Italy got some really bad shit. The crossing was ok, spent most of it in bed due to a cold and feeling sea sick. Arrived in Bilbao about 8.00am Tuesday morning, headed for Logrono, then took the N111 to Soria, then picked up the N234 both excellent roads. Stopped in Teruel for the night, a nice place to stay, if fact stopped on the way back. Got to Valencia Wed afternoon and found a camp site in Pucol, booked in for 2 nights, stayed 1 after a good soaking during the night. Checked out the circuit and looked for an hotel, one bastard wanted 400e a night, get in at the Holiday Inn near the airport. Enjoyed the racing and the atmosphere, pity about the first lap crash in the main race, well done Cal. Set off back on the A23 to Teruel, the most shit scary ride of my life with strong cross winds. Would like to thank Phil & Elle for joining me back to Bilbao, and finding the hotel in the heavy rain and rush hour traffic, sorry I missed you in Portsmouth.   To all you who fancy giving it a go, just do it you will not regret it.   Paul
