anyone joing us at any of the stop points could you add yer names next to the place you want to meet (copy& paste then edit in) so we know if anyone needs waiting for I will post my contact number later in the week if you need to make contact on the day to let us know you wont be there in time if needs be or PM me this week for it?

here we go the the route as planned from the meeting point at Lymm services is as follows along the A49/A458/A442

Lymm WA13 0SP ETA 10:00 - ETD 10:20

Raven/Whitchurch SY13, UK ETA 11:20 - ETD 11:40

Quatt WV15 6QJ ETA 12:40 - ETD 13:00

Stoke Prior B60 4AL ETA 13:40

Should allow enough time for fag/tea/bathroom breaks? And to round up stragglers and delays

Eerr... just to throw a spanner in the works, when I went across to Nantwich on Sunday the A49 was closed around Cholmondeley castle, with a diversion. There was a cycling event on and something at the castle. Is anyone able to verify whether the road will be open?

There was a diversion posted, but if we know in advance it will be closed we're probably better planning our our diversion route e.g. Broxton/A41 to Whitchurch.

Any ideas how we can check?

When there is anything on at Cholmondeley it usually buggers up either the A41 or A49 as they run either side. Think you should be ok to be honest desres as they prefer to bugger it up on a Saturday or Sunday! Thumbs Up

Have checked and cant find anything at the mo, but if you ask stroggy nicely am sure he will google any road closures before he leaves... or ring his girlfriend as she will still be in work, when he gets to Lymm so she can doulbe check LOL

Pan man - few of us setting off from my house in Kendal 8.30 ish- 2 riders & 2 in car. Only 7 miles off M6. You could come round to mine, maybe have a brew if time and ride down to Lymn with celtic silver & wildchick67? pm me for postcode if you fancy it.

for all concerned it will be a leisurely ride down so that if anyone misses the meeting point times they may be able to catch us up on the route which is as follows (rough guide to main route roads so follow signs and head SOUTH lol)

ETA 10:00 - ETD 10:20
Lymm Services M56 West to J10/A49 follow this to Whitchurch then A41 to the Raven Whitchurch (SY13 2AF) ETA 11:20 - ETD 11:40

A41 to Higher Heath turn right (?) onto A442 continue along here till a roundabout leads you to the left A442 Bridgenorth/Telford town centre continue to Quatt/Food Stop Cafe WV15 6QJ (petrol here, or there is according to google maps lol) those using the sat nav on this post code if you don't know here the cafe is about 500 yards past "you have arrived" going south ETA 12:40 - ETD 13:00

Final leg from here A442 to Droitwich Spa After sign there's a roundabout take first left to Droitwich A38 (brown sign for Barry Hill) through two roundabouts then at the Murco petrol station turn right onto Church Lane Follow yer nose turn left onto Shaw Lane (or me LOL

) and hopefully signs from here then give BJ and Boss Mom and anyone else on the gate a sweet smile throw yer loose change in the bucket to ensure BJ does her forfeit, pitch tent, hit the bar and we're off Beer

ETA 13.40 (probs nearer 14.00)
