Chain come loose, worn front sprocket, tight spot in chain or its too loose.

Hi CYTM here using HFG's login. I agree with all those above, but does deffo sound like a loose/worn chain. Any idea how many miles the chain has done? plus last time it was adjusted?

not being funny but do you oil it regularly ????

look at the teeth on the sprocket are the uniform both sides of the teeth or do they look like they are leaning forward slightly?

Put bike in neutral run the back wheel around and look at chain your looking for loose links damage worn looking links....

Dont forget the links can be tight as well, sometimes tight can be just as bad as loose Shocked

another clue to a worn chain/sprocket is a very slight raise/fall in the revs as you ride along at a constant speed. Usually constant speed should have constant revs, but listen for that rhythmic pitch change (its only very slight, kinda like a washing machine on spin cycle if its slightly off balance)
