Lol @ taxi, only taxi I had was his pram and pushchair after that it was either walk or get the bus.   I won't be getting lifts anywhere as he's in the Navy so when he's not working, on land or sea, he's with his girlfriend or mates.    I don't see him often and when I do it's usually just a flying visit. It's hard to believe my outgoing and independant son used to be so shy, when he was a toddler, that he'd pinch my skin cos he was holding onto my legs so tightly lol
