julie,believe it or not but u dont have to do any advanced training to be an instructor in anything,some of my friends r instructors in car and hgv,if some1 is a crap driver they will be wether its a car,bus or wagon,to me the only training that actually teaches any kind of real world awareness r bike instructors,i was fortunate when i did my bike training that the instructor was actually police trained and u could see the diifference between who he had taught and who the other instructors had taught,also when i did my bus test even the instructor was amazed that some of the people passed the test the examiner should have failed them and didnt,i wouldnt have trusted some of them on pushbike let alone a bus.
