There was a few of us at the weekend sharing ideas and tips and I thought it might be a good idea to share your tip with others on the forum so here's a couple from me.
1) To make any steel/ally pan non stick simply clean it, heat it up on the stove till it's VERY hot then sprinkle salt all over the inside. Roll the salt round the pan then rinse it immediately with cold water. The sodium forms a lubricating film that lasts for a few uses until you do it again.
2) I've got a camping list on my desktop that I add to every time I forget to take something. As you pack just change the font colour of the items on the list so you can see at a glance what you're about to forget again!
3) Instead of taking a bottle of washing up liquid just put one of those washing up sponge things in a small tupperware tub, soak it in washing up liquid then wrap it in cling film. Nice and light on the bike, no leaks and it lasts for a few days if you squeeze it out in the tub before it's first use as it absorbs all of the liquid on the way to site.
If you've got any tips add them and we'll all learn something new
