Only A UK Site?

When I'm in Europe I can't log in, is this site just for the UK?

Last week I was in Holland and I left my pc logged in to this site and remotely connected to it while I was away, otherwise I can't log in. I've tried logging in from Germany, Holland, and France, it won't let me unless I have a UK IP Number. Well that's what I've worked out so far :-)

I was in Amsterdam and I am sure I logged in. I also logged in from Dubai, but you have me doubting myself now.

If you are a paying customer you should be able to log in outside the UK. If you have a basic free account you cannot log on..... Smile

Paying, and tried in loads of places. For some reason it wouldn't let me log in so I just assumed it was due to being a UK site only Smile

Have definitely logged in from Spain, only thing I couldn't do was make a payment from there to renew subs - hence keeping membership UK based.

Maybe it was the wifi I was logged into blocking it. Dating sites, porn, and all those type sites blocked I suppose.

Yes it could have been. I can't log in from work computer. never tried from abroad because when I'm on holiday I don't log in to any social sites and I leave my phone off because I'm on holiday and not interested in what's happening at home.

I must admit I didn't think anyone outside the U.K. could register as a member but I have seen member's profiles stating they live outside the U.K

It's not life threatening, I just wondered why I couldn't log in when I'm away working. I just figured Matt set it up as a UK site only.

The others above are correct

Standard members can NOT access BM from outside the UK, except to login and upgrade.

Full members CAN access BM from anywhere (I'm in Holland myself).

Indeed some large businesses, public cafes etc may block BM as a dating site / adult site. Even some UK ISPs now have their parental filters enabled by default and that can block BM. It's highly frustrating and I've not found any way to fix it - once they've categorised us as 18+ we're screwed
