December 14th at 12:00hrs A.B.C & Turbinia annual toy run The Turbinia, Parsons Centre, Newton Aycliffe DL5 7PA Fancy dress optional (but recommended) Every year Aycliffe Bike Club and the Part fire engine tour pubs collecting toys that have been donated to be handed over to the Women's refuge in Bishop Auckland. This event has been running for 7 years and has handed over thousands of toys to disadvantaged children giving them a Christmas they could only have dreamed of. All BIKES, TRIKES and SCOOTERS welcome to participate. Just bring a new and unwrapped toy. The support from local towns and villages is amazing, in my opinion the best toy run.
