I read the obituary in the Telegraph about him as he is a relative of one of my friends such a sad loss.

Most newspapers only pay lip service to motorcycling. The motoring pages have, at best, a few recycled press releases, while the news pages all too often betray a prejudice against bike and bikers, usually in the aftermath of some horrible accident. 
The fact that the Telegraph had some of the best biking coverage around in any mass-readership paper was down to Kevin Ash, and he will be a hard act to replace.

Just read it in MCN he will be missed by many and a very sad loss
