From reading the previous posts, ppl have got a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide interpretation of "love songs" which is good.

Obviously being an old timer, had my 50th last week, i could go for loads of stuff, i mean....where the hell would i start!?!?!?!?

But in terms of love songs from Rock bands then it is one of two----babe, i'm gonna leave you (Led Zep) or still in love with you (Thin Lizzy-live version).

OMG the emotion and power of these two tracks just blows me away.

On a more contemporary note then you cant omit whitney houston-i will always love you
and-somebody also mentioned this Leona lewis-Bleeding Love.......FFS that girl can SING.....nah seriously have you ever heard a finer voice? truly.
