Triumph has donated a limited Diamond Jubilee edition of it's iconic Bonneville model to The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust in recognition of Her Majesty The Queen's 60 year reign.   Lord Digby Jones, Chairman of Triumph Motorcycles, presented the Bonneville, which sports a one-of-a-kind paint scheme, to the Chairman of the Trust, former Prime Minister Sir John Major. The Diamond Jubilee bike is one of a limited edition of just 60 machines. The bike is finished in silver, and the paintwork incorporates a union flag and Jubilee medals - it will be auctioned, and the procedes used by the Trust to fund the projects it has undertaken to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.   Lord Digby Jones said:   'The Diamond Jubilee Trust is doing tremendous work across the Commonwealth and as a British manufacturer, we felt that we should be supporting its work. As Britain’s largest motorcycle producer, we felt the most fitting way to support the Trust would be to donate a limited edition model designed specifically to celebrate the Queen’s 60 years’ reign.'   Triumph has produced the iconic Bonneville, in various forms, since 1959, including a Silver Jubilee edition in 1977, of which two thousand models were made. The Bonneville is still one of Triumph's best-selling models.
