Team spesh Racing are looking for a awning for there recently purchased race support vehicle (ie caravan). Full awning needed with a rail length measurement of 650/660 cms. West midlands area preferred and I've no problems in collecting. Cheers Spesh Thumbs Up

How big is the caravan. I have what is known as a porch awning - Made by Outdoor Revolution, I think it is the Compactalite 400 - 4 metres long. Unless you have a very big van (and if the awning rail is 650-660, it isn't that big) it will be almost as good as a full awning. I used it about 3 times on my previous caravan which was a 6.40 metre length, and then replaced it with a caravanstore roll-up awning. Current van also has a Caravanstore, so I don't use the Awning.   If it fits, you can have it. - but thinking about it it might even be too big. However, if you want to try it, let me know.   John

Stella if you put the make and model of van onto a shearch you will get all the info from safe wight limits to awning size and if the one you have got is bigger you may get a swop at a dealer

Caravan awning sizes are measured 'ground to ground',so if your actual rail measurement is around 650cm then ground to ground will be nearer 750cm (guessing caravan about 12' by those measurements)
If caravan not an antique then size should be on isabella awnings website, thats the one I use for work (I deal with the aluminium sheds for a living!)

Thx Sprint. its a silverline 10ft model. A-A measurement is 700-725. The awning we bought has a A-A measurement of 825-850. So alot bigger than expected.
So if anyone has a small full awning in that size, and need a bigger one (ooh err misses). Pm me or HFG. cheers Spesh
