Quick update. Split the casing yesterday, replaced all the gearbox internals and resecured casing. Checked gearbox for operation on the bench, all ok. went up and down the box with no issues. So just got to rebuild the rest of the engine now. :-)

Quick post testing update on the engine/gearbox repair. Rebuilt the rest of the engine on Monday and refitted it back in the bike over Mon/Tues. Apart from a sheared exhaust stud all went well. Went testing at Mallory Weds and the bike performed brill. No issues with either gear selection under heavy loading, or any fluid leaks. So looks like we can put this issue to bed now :-) Bring on Donny :-)
