thanks for all the hugs & good wishes Big smile am just hoping that when I get to see the specialist he dosn't say 'operation'!!! Confused I also think that someone is trying to tell me something about riding me own bike......like 'don't do it'.....even if Mavis was working ok,  I don't think that I would like to attempt to go out on her with me knee the way it is!! Angry Hull - that's awfull!! why would somone just 'tip' a car over!! ..unless they thought it was a cow! Lol Cathy - yerrr - it was all their fault LOL Rachel - sorry I missed your call. Dave, it's ok- I don't blame you (joke!!!) Big smile Rose- do you think we can find a paper bag big enough to put us all in?? LOL

Don't say that Stells. Take it as its saying stop being pilly and ride Mavis, if she had been ok you wouldn't have had trouble getting your leg over!

I know how you feel tho I was the same, When I hurt my ankle, and then the day after getting Stuey was strapped up and told stay off ankle.

Rose wouldn't dare put us all in bag and shake us up ... Might cause more damage! Keep chin up Stella

HG altho your knee problem is slightly different to mine, I had it cleaned out cos it bled inside and I could hardly walk or bend it, even if you have an operation they may do keyhole surgery on it like they did mine.   I hope you get it sorted soon, no matter how they do it.

update on me knee - specialist thinks it's just the cartiledge that's damaged & not the crutiate ligament, however am going for an MRI scan on Monday so we'll find out then what the problem is & then what needs to be done.

ok, update on me Knee.  Saw the specialist yesterday for the results of me scan. Good News is that it isn't the cartliledge, bad news is that there's some evidence of damage to the Anterior Crutiet Ligament & also evidence of Bone trauma!!   so first option was to have an exploritory op - stick a camera in & poke about a bit, alternatively have Physio for a while & go back & see the Spec in 3 months (sooner if no progress with Physio) So have opted for Physio & take it from there. My Knee is still pretty uncomfortable & painful at times...but hey ho -I'm a girl - I can cope Big smile

Hmm, it's your knee Stells, so you should do what you feel is right.   But as we've discussed before I've had crutiate ligament damage and it's left me with a buggered knee.  If I was you I'd go for the exploratory op to be honest.  At least that way they'll know exactly what the issue is and be able to advise you more accurately.   Now ok, my damage was I suspect more serious than yours.  I couldn't walk without crutches for some time and yet you seem to be walking around reasonably well.  But I went to physio initially and by the time they'd realised it wasn't working it was apparently too late to sort it.   I'd really hate to see you in the same position as me.

Good Luck HG, I hope it turns out to be less serious than first thought and that it's sorted out pretty quickly with no after effects.
