doofer is a work for something you need, it comes from "do for". 'Do for', yes, as in 'I'll do for him' meaning to fight hence 'stick your doofers up' as in fighting. Is anyone going to this? Have a great day out and I hope the weather stays dry.

Well were was every one, Vinnie and his friend Lee turned up so that made three. But it was a good ride, a bit of drizzle around Pateley Bridge but otherwise fine. We rode up to Hartside by Hawes and came back down the A6 to Devils Bridge. I clocked 370 miles calling in at Squires after leaving the others
