What a fabby topic Thumbs Up  On reading through there were a few things that made me go "oh yeah..." including space hoppers, fuzzy felt, The Goodies, the klangers, etc and cola cubes sprang to mind too - they made my jaws go all tingly right below my ears Pinch    One of my fave memories was going to the local library with my gran pulling me along on a sledge coz the snow was so deep!   Also going for picnics and having warm jam pieces (aka sandwiches / butties); Watching my gran with a ciggy in her gob while reading a book and also watching telly and knitting! She never lost the story line of the book or the telly programme she was watching.  She'd flick her ciggy ash by turning her head towards the fireplace and giving a wee blow out the side of her mouth - fascinating stuff LOL
