carry on up to Ullapool, superb road, i recommend Ladysmith House guest house, owner has a bike, very friendly, excellent place, always live music being played somewhere in the town, 7 bars in town, heaven on the west coast,

Hi people[madscots] if your interested in goin this far up heres another biker friendly http://www.aultguish.co.uk/ . me and 9 others went last year,as well as comfy beds its got a bunk house and space for camping[the highlands lol] its right inbetween inverness and ulapool on the A835 .highly recommended . more pics on gallery.http://m74mcc.co.uk/ cheers m

lol brumax i know what yer sayin but not my idea and us numpties went in 60mph cross winds took me 6 hrs for double the time ...thank ffc it was still there heehee.

Hey emdee, i always think why stop when you have those beautiful bends right in front of you just waiting to be attacked, its a superb road, going up there next weekend, hope this snow is all gone

yeh brumax sht hot roads just need some local knowledge to come off A roads which are effinandblindin good ,a wee honey bee took me on some good roads near loch ness which i woulda never found myself.

here is another great place and a awesome route over the Bealach nam Bo, the only true Alpine pass in Britain www.applecross.uk.com/inn/ excellent food the campsite there is also great man i have a beautiful country
