So I'm a week into stubble-growth, awaiting the 10 day period where I decide if it looks good or just grubby, but feck!! - how do you full beardies or permanent designer stubble types put up with itching!!!!!!
Think waterboarding would be preferable...

Wash and condition everyday followed by liberal applications of beard oil.

I'm washing and moisturising, though how much of that gets to the skin underneath is debateable:)
Beard oil - is that really a thing?!

OK so I aint got a beard 🀣🀣pmsl but i know guys who have been through that itchy itchy time.... Stick with it.... Does combing help???!! 😝 😝

Suzi, combing is addictive. I find myself combing my beard as I am driving at work. I've even forgotten I have left the comb in the beard and get some weird looks from passing cars when they see it stuck to the side of my face.

I haven't had a comb since I had hair. Well, hair longer than a few millimetres anyway.
Stirred an odd memory though - back in the 80s, a friend used to go out with one of his mums soft tubular hair curlers in his pocket in lieu of a comb. He'd slip it over his finger and slide it through his locks, and swore that it was easier than a comb to keep the style looking right ! Got him some odd looks though...

Just keep it clean or you will get spots under your beard. Dont be tempted to trim it. Its going to take a few months(3 or 4) to fill out as well. Thats if your hiing full on hairy beast and not a neat and tidy look.

Beard oil is good. As is beard wax if you want to style out.

You could visit Lings Norfolk Triumph at Watton - they have a men’s grooming products display in their clothing and accessories section - so you could combine two interests at once - bikes and beards !

A friend recommended Nivea Sensitive Post-Shave Balm. Don't know if they make it for men though! πŸ˜†
Worked a treat in the early itchy-scratchy days but don't need anything now.

It's easing off now. Getting to/past the 2 week stage is key I think, and brushing helps.
I'm going to give it a month and see how it looks and feels after then

I’m sure that better hairy face porn pics can be found over at Beards r’ Us or similar :)

Nine months in and I'm still undecided. And it's still itchy:)

Yeah I looked at your pics too P. and the beard looks good on you so far but I think you would suit it even longer, however if it is still annoyingly itchy after all these months just shave it off :)
