Well, a few of you asked for another so now running mid-month to mid-month (with an extra weekends' head start) here is your challenge for Aug/Sep:

Write "BM #4" on a sheet of card or paper so that it can be seen when photographed on your bike.

Find locations as below and take a photo of your bike, with entry card, at them.

Upload your photos to the "event" on 16th September at the event page https://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/newcalendar_event_details.asp?event_id=5637
I'll choose a winner by 20th September.
Your targets are:
1 x Clock tower ON THE HOUR (any street clock will do, but a tower will get brownie points )

2 x Nautically named pubs

3 x Memorials to the fallen

I think that's one of the best things about this challenge.
Doesn't matter where you are - find the subjects required to fit the criteria, and work through the list.
As long as it's within the timeframe for each month, every entry counts.
Upload them to the event page with your card in the pic showing who you are.
Eazy peazy - shame more aren't taking this up.

Challenge accepted. I know where i can find a tower with a clock, not sure if the clock works though, pubs are easy, i live near the coast, 2 memorials located, need to find a 3rd. Thanks Linz, and Nick, spot on and quite right to answer while I've had eyes elsewhere.

It's near impossible to do the kind of challenge that I usually do - specific named targets - as I simply don't have the time to cover the whole country to find locations that everyone has a chance to get to and I'll not plagiarise someone else's hard work! So, to keep it open to all I hope it's working that I provide a theme or two and ask you brave folk to find your own locations - which also gives you a chance to be imaginative in your interpretation.

half the photos taken, but broken bike (heavy handed neighbour gave me a hand and now I'm waiting for new chain tension adjuster plate) and the clock I planned to take a pic of is working and almost telling the right time
