ZZrpilot, aka Pob, had has a nasty accident in France. Multiple fractures and and op this weekend to reassemble his pelvis, but otherwise OK, if you know what I mean.
Quite a few BM-ers know him on facebook as well, where there are regular updates.

Pobbly update from his friend Alix.   His operation went well. He has been moved to a less intensive bed. He managed to speak to his Dad yesterday eve which is pretty damn impressive and very encouraging. Fingers crossed for him getting back next week.

This is what the damage is...   Compound fracture of both forearm bones in left arm.Triple compound fracture of radius in right arm.Swollen right hand.Broken ring finger knuckle on right hand.Displaced pelvis. First op on Monday stabilised it and the op yesterdayput it back into place and plated it.Damaged femoral nerve, causing the loss of feeling in right leg, but today he can move his foot a bit. He said that this is a normal sort ofthing when you bash your groin.Right leg is black and blue.Broken vertebra in lower back, surgeon says nothing to worry about, doesn't need op, will heal with rest.Abdominal drains, catheter, assorted scars, clips and holes... Wacko   Pob's still in France, hopefully back to our shores soon
