I heard that the Hawes road has just been re-surfaced and i'm
thinking of going for a run over there after the Farmyard.
Does anybody know what condition it's in and if it's best to avoid it
for a while?
Thanks, Linda.

Hi,
I & some other Bm'ers were out on the Hawes to Ribblehead road yesterday, no problems. Where the resurfacing has been done, the road markings have been laid down, tends only to be done once the chippings have been down a while and swept.
It was a bit wet yesterday have a look at this link (last minute or so) you shouldn't have problem.

I didn't come across any gravel myself either on sunday, it was obvious it'd been done recently, but didn't seem to be any loose stuff, and probably the most confidence inspiring wet ride i've had lol!
