Surely it can't be right that people who have their profiles hidden are allowed to look at other profiles.  I find it incredibly irritating that someone can look at me but I can't see who they are.  I choose not to hide my profile because I want to socialise and make friends but I find it a bit sinister that someone wants to stay hidden but browse profiles.  Am I the only person who feels this way?

If they view you and hide their profile... you can bypass their "hidden" setting and view them.  This is only if they've viewed you in the past 2 weeks.   BUT... that doesn't apply to members who haven't yet got around to creating their profile.  Remember that you don't need an account at all to view profiles, anyone can view your profile when logged in (so there's a lot more people who aren't logged in that are viewing your profile).   Please don't worry too much about it

i'v brought this up in the past Suzanne thats why we now have the 2 weeks to view them but i still dont think that people without profiles or an account should be able to view your profile

I recently saw someone listed as looking at my profile in the previous two weeks but when I tried to look at theirs I got the message that they didn't exist, etc. We seem to have rules for everything else so why not for that?

  I assume that when a member has disabled their profile, after viewing mine, that they didn't like what they saw and don't want me to contact them lol. I don't think there's anything sinister about that.   Why don't you send a PM to those who have done the same to you and ask them to enable their profile so you can have a look at who was viewing your profile?    If standard members weren't allowed to view profiles, read the forum posts, they probably wouldn't be encouraged to become full members and without new members the site would become stale. Personally i dont care at all if someone views me once or 100 times & if i cant see who it is the first time i try i generally wont bother again !   I have disabled my profile recently for a couple of days as i was having a little bother not really related to the site, now its there & active as it should be for someone thats got nothing to hide ....   the one thing i dont get on some profiles is "tell you later" in many of the info boxes ..... sometimes i'll bother to pm & ask if its someone fairly close or interesting looking but most times i really cant be bothered...   scoobs                                                                                                                                                                               

Dont bother a lot of blokes if anyone views them,but maybe for the ladies it might be a dodgy. "Tell you later" in info boxes?maybe its the fact that theres something happening in their life, that the person doesnt want discussing at that time, if you eventually get to know them then fair enough maybe they'll talk about it.                                                                                                                                                                              

Tell you later to me just means CBA although i have come across some profiles which are.... shall we say.... stretching the truth a bit.. !!    Unviewable profiles dont bother me at all and if someone keeps viewing me then i just block it                                                                                                                                                                             

  Personally I think the words 'tell you later' should be altered, or just left blank. 'Tell you later' sounds like they have something they want to hide, especially if it's in the 'status' box, or can't be bothered to fill in their profile. IMHO.
