The first thing I had with two wheels and a motor was a Raleigh Runabout moped when I was 14 which I rebuilt in the shed and rode around the local fields until it dropped to bits.

Then when I was 18 I had a Honda CB125 which I rode for a couple of years.

Then a loooooong gap,

Then a Yamaha YBR125 which I rode for two years before getting my full licence and upgrading to my present Honda CBF600.

Not much of a history to be sure, but it's a start...

The very first was part shares in a BSA Bantam, in 71/2.   Up until then I thought BSA stood for Birmingham Small Arms. It was really Bastard's Stopped Again!Cry

I started in ྊ on a Motobecane mobylette  (awesome stuff) , then a Suzuki GT 250 b,  BSA A65, Yam DT400, Yam  RD400dx.  Then a few years off, then a Yam RS 100,  then a Yam RD 250, then a few more years off.   I came back to biking in ྜྷ with a Kawasaki GPz 1100a2 (felt like i was riding a railway carriage) , i realised i still had the bottle for biking, so i bought a new Kawasaki ZX6RG1, then a ZX6RJ1, then in 2001 i bought the (biking) love of my life, my Cagiva V-Raptor 1000.  There are lots of other bikes i would like, but not enough to get rid of the weirdoraptor.   ps. i had the BSA for 3 years and rode through all weathers, gave her some right good hidings, and she only ever broke down on me once. I think the japanese electrics and switchgear made a lot of difference.

SR500, it was a bitch.  Used to stall at traffic lights and had to wait ten minutes for it to cool down before it would kick over.   Since then, 650 Katana,  GSXR750 (slingshot) and CD175, another 650 Katana, SV650s, another GSXR750.  Not a very long list considering.  Not very varied either lol.

My first was a wee Honda MT5 trailie when I was 16. Then onto a cheapo insurance repair job CB125TDC on my 17th birthday. 18th birthday, got myself an RD125LC, then ran out of time on my provisional. Next was a wee suzuki GP100 to get me to work and back. Had that 6 months then put in for car and bike tests. Passed them both and got a CBR600. That got annihilated by a numpty car driver, and put me out of action for nearly 4 years. Next came a Triumph Daytona 900 with the compo money. Finally, 2yrs ago, got my dream machine, a ZZR1400...

My first bike 19 years back was a DT125R,.. had a few of them. Only had a couple of kwackers, a KX500, and a KMX200. A few KTM's, a lot of Yam's and an awfull lot of Honda's. 9 Pan Euro's (so far) but only one BMW, and won't be getting another! The last time I had a count up, a while ago and including off-roaders & supermotos, I've had somewhere near 80 now.
