Has there been a rider who has moved from Superbikes to GP and done any good.

Colin Edwards is mediocre but the best of the bunch - however he hasn't won a race. However Troy Bayliss did win the last race of the GP season a few years back when Ducati brought him back after winning WSBK.
Toseland - again hasn't really shown promise - but he has been having probs with his bike.
So....no not really! but it is a different beast !

Will have to see but will have to up his game to match the top 4
rocket rider
i can't think of any rider who made the jump and went on to glory.
i heard a rumour Leon Camier is thinking about it but i don't know if there's any truth in it.....but it would be interesting to see how he performs.

I think money talks far more in GP so only a handfull of top riders get the best bikes. The likes of the satilite teams are only there to make the numbers up and put riders on the small grid.
WSB is a far better championship and it cares more for the punters as they have better pit walk abouts and you can meet and greet the riders and pit crews.
BSB - equals WSB but at a better cost to the punter. Cheap day/weekend out (in comparison to the others) and usually great racing to boot.

If i'm not mistaken Chris Vermeulen won at Le Mans in 2007 ?
