Ok, so the guy got away without jail after proving his car couldn't do 173mph. But, as most people know, Derbyshire are heavily targetting speeding motorists. This guy admits to doing 105mph on the A515 (50mph speed limit as many are in Derbyshire now); end result, two year ban and a £5000 fine. Ouch. A two year ban and a £5,000 fine. I've just read about a motorist pulling out of a junction and killing a motorcyclist. Result? A two year ban and a £250 fine.

I think it's quite right ... flipping motorbikes, horrible, noisy, dirty things. A nuisance to society if you ask me!
