I have to say that considering from the very start of the video it was plainly obvious that he was being followed, any rider with a hint of nounce would have sussed that it was more than likely police up your chuff.   I can't really comment on the speed issue as being a test driver/rider I know that speed in the right conditions is not something to shake a finger at. Where, when and who else is around you are the questions to ask. This bloke was an unobservant idiot to not clock the tail early and quite frankly to declare yourself not guilty in this day and age of being watched everywhere is a little stupid.   Rant over......good vid though:)

He's not a biker, he's a disqualified jerk who rides dangerously and gives the rest of us a bad name.   Lock him up for longer

I agree Matt, he gave no thought to anyone else, and as we all know it usually the innocent party that get hurt.   If you wanna race get off off the public highway go do it somewhere where if anyone is going to get hurt it would be you.   And yes he was a jerk not to notice a sneaky beaky behind him.   Think safe arrive alive !!

Speed that you can clearly handle, when conditions are favourable is fine. 110 on a deserted, dry motorway, when you're an advanced instructor is fine.   However, remember the generic rule of asking yourself, "What IF....?" ? You continually assess the situation, asking "What If" something happened (thus being aware of all the potential hazards as you progress) - Could you recover it safely or are you fecked through lack of judgement?       Basically, what if he happened to hit something that caused a low-sider or a slip, maybe even a blow-out?   At 70, you might survive... At 130-odd, with following traffic you will be dead and the cops/ambulance peeps are the poor ones who have to scrape what remains of your inconsiderate arse off the tarmac.... and that's asSUEme-ing you don't collide with anyone else along the way, either!!!
