I'm thinking about another Northern Things next May. Nothing definite yet so this I just to get some thoughts from anyone who might be interested.
Northumberland is appealing to me. Northumberland has everything for the discerning motorcyclist; Lindisfarne for culture and mead, the Cheviot lumpy bits and plenty of potential for hooning about on empty and scenic roads.
I don't know where to base ourselves yet. Possibly Wooler as that has a range of pubs, hotels, B&Bs and a campsite.
Another option is Clennell Hall near Alwinton, although we might not be able to get a Bank Holiday weekend there as they often have events on.
Or possibly somewhere else in the vicinity.
Being in the Far North for it would make sense for it to be a Friday to Monday. There are two bank Holidays in May, or we could pick one of the middle of May weekends to avoid the tourists.

Anyway. Anyone interested?

Clennel Hall looks good but dates will be restrictive..have you considered Seahouses for the harbour etc when not out on our bikes?
