We have provisionally booked our usual corner at Toby Carvery in Eastbourne for Saturday 7th December.
As yet Toby Carvery haven't got any Xmas menu's or prices yet, as soon as they do have them i will put the details up on the calendar.
The Travelodge next door as of today 20/09/24 is charging £86.98 for Friday 6th & Saturday 7th, this will increase as it gets nearer to Xmas !.

Gutted to have to miss this one but will be in the middle of an NHS diabetes diet trial (delicious shakes for 3 months). Would not be able to sit with a shake when you are all downing your Xmas dinners 🥲 I had such a great time last year. Hope you all have a great time xx

If you would like to come along to this either for the weekend or just for the Xmas Dinner you'll be made welcome. There is a Travelodge right next door to Toby Carvery if you want to book a room, address is on the calendar.
Although the event details are on the events calendar i'll scribble them down here as well.
The cost of the meal at Toby Carvery this year is £20, I must have either a £10 (non-returnable) deposit or the full £20 along with your menu choices before November 10th.
Please P.M. either DAVE VM or Tinkytinkerbelle and we'll let you have the payment details.

The Menu.
Starters
1.Caramelised Onion & Shallot Tart. Topped with goats cheese served in puff pastry.
2.Cheesy Mushrooms. Baked Mushrooms in cheesy truffle sauce with melted cheddar & garlic bread.
3.Chicken Liver & Brandy Pate with fig chutney, cucumber & toasted focaccia.
4.Red Pepper & Tomato Soup with toasted focaccia.
5.Prawn Cocktail with cherry tomatoes, lettuce, seafood sauce, brown bread & lemon wedge.

Mains.
1.Mushroom Bourguignon Pie. Mushrooms and caramelised onions in red wine sauce.
2.Salmon & Dill Wellington. Salmon & Dill en croute in white wine sauce.
3.Carvery. A selection of roast meats an serve yourself vegetables.

Puddings.
1.Toby's Crumble. Apple & Damson Crumble with Custard.
2.Christmas Pudding with Custard or Brandy Sauce.
3.Crunchy Caramel Sundae. Dairy Ice Cream, Biscoff Biscuit, cream & caramel sauce.
4.Dairy Ice Cream. With Cadbury Flake, your choice of either Strawberry, Toffee, Chocolate or Lemon Sauce.
5.Home Baked Chocolate & cookie Dough Brownie with cream, Strawberries, Salted Caramel Sauce& Honeycombe.
6.Chocolate Fondant. Warm chocolate pudding with gooey centre, served with cream, chocolate sauce & strawberries.
