I think we're dead meat old son.   I fix Hawks.   At Barry the RAF lads would have been at RAF St Athan.  ( was there myself once upon a time)  Yeah getting stuff chromed up seems to be a pastime down there.  I had a BSA 250 Star done up the same way, looked great but was a bag of nails.

Just had a thought Storm.  Sometimes we have open days up here on the airfield, as I work there I can usually take a guest along.  Not sure when there will be another one, but if you are interested let me know.  I know it's a long trip but I have a spare room and if you don't fancy that, there are cheap hotels and B&B places around.   Mind you as I said I don't have the faintest idea when the next one will be though.
