Round here it was trendy to ride wearing a donkey jacket lol
Back in the 80's cant think why though probably because it was cheap.
With the chain and lock over one shoulder and looking cooll
Army back optional those little ones sandy or green in colour.
I thought i was the bees knees lol
So what did you wear?
I also had these ex army trousers that had really big zips up the legs fall out trousers or some thing i think they were?

I'm still wearing the same gear, although replaced several times since the 80s, & I concede that the hoody wasn't always armoured πŸ˜‰

Combat pants and ex army boots, leather jacket, gloves an the best lid I could afford.
I guess I was more concerned about protecting my top half, which is ironic cos at that age my bottom half made most of my life decisions πŸ˜…

Steel toecap boots, jeans and a leather jacket bought from a sale in the back room of a pub, with a cheap JEB helmet and gardening gloves (until a family friend gave me his old pair of police motorcycle gauntlets which I still have nearly 40 years later)
