When I was very young I wanted a 650 Triumph USA spec that was my dream motorcycle but never got to own one, the most reliable motorcycle that I have owned was a brand new CX500 I was living in London & it was ideal for getting about on, now I ride a CX500 Trike for health reasons

My questions are
What's your dream motorcycle
What was your most reliable motorcycle
What is your ride at the moment

Thanks

My earliest hard-ons for bikes were circa 1970 for either a Norton Commando or a Guzzi LeMans. Never owned either but the lust had begun!
My current ZX14, my nth big Kwak is the most complete bike I ever owned. Big, bad, does everything, bulletproof. Just a pinnacle of engineering and competence. It's a love affair really.. not for everyone but suits me.
Think on it like this and see if you identify?
She

She’s out there now
My long legged svelte bitch, my beauty
Poised on tiptoes on the cold workshop floor
Her slight provocative lean beckoning me
Again!

Her sleek sensuous flanks belie the oily origins of her race
Latest in the shameless string of my philandering
Always ready to welcome my desires
To awake my passion and let me straddle
Her willing loins and bolster my conceit
Of who I’d be.

Oh sure! I spoil her with trinkets
Take her out, show her off, strut our stuff
And revel in the envy of the pack. I don’t deny
But the best of us is harder to share
Our time alone, writhing together
Along some forgotten road or favourite haunt
Reaching for bliss!
Each time I fall I swear she’ll be the last
The best I ever had
But I know my roving eye, the self delusion
Of my faithless past…and keep it hidden.
How easily my guilt’s assuaged
When some new angel of destruction
Lures me to go astray.

So, I choose to live in the moment
They are all I have and I remember every one
The dirty secrets and flagellations that constitute
The best of marriages.
And we’ll use each other till we use it up!
And then move on, but we will have had the best
Of each other…with luck!

My current dream motorcycle that might have me reaching to my bank account doesn't exist yet.
But if Yamaha ever do make a 750 TMax I'll be there.
Meanwhile I'm quite happy with my current stable.

Ultimate bike for me is my old 929 fireblade. Tiger 1050 was a good bike but too tall.

My dream motorcycle used to be a VMax but now it would be something like a BSA gold star or maybe a vellocett ?. My most reliable bike was a GT750 kawa that took me everywhere, (loved that bike so much). Now I have a BMW r100rs that isn't reliable, a Moto Guzzi v75 running but not on the road, and a 4 year old triumph America which will probably end up being my most reliable bike ever
