I have a Michelin pilot tyre on the front of my bike not by choice.
Its gone into warp word in other words left  side is  as good as you would expect from a hammered tyre
but the right side now that's another story
Well out of shape big ridge on half lean
basically f--ked
why ?

Its where the compound changes from hard centre for long life to softer edge for better cornering all riders have a preferred corner left or right  and you will go faster and bank more to which ever you have the confidence in

Left hand drive and right hand drive roads cause tyres to wear more on one side than other.

On left hand drive roads (UK), you take right corners harder than left, I believe.
It's due to road camber.

Even so, I usually get at least 12k miles from my Pilots....

You're rolling in to them corners hot, denny Wink

Yeah...I do now.
Switched from the factory Bridgestones at about 600 miles - they let me down too often in the wet.
It hurt...and I got fed up with replacing side panels at £350 each Confused

Here I am.
Left side works with the road camber, right handers are against the camber so you're effectively leaning further and stressing the tyre harder.
Back tyres wear most in the middle, front tyres on the right. Unless you are in foreign parts where they ride on the wrong side of the road.
What's the miles on the tyre?
