Would anyone else be interested in an excuse to ride their bike out for the day and meeting up for breakfast/lunch and a chat at either;

I just wondered if anyone else would be interested in meeting other members of BM and have a bit of a get together that doesn't involve beer and the worry about finding somewhere to stay and if they can manage to ride back home the next day with a mega hangover?  Just something more relaxed on either a Saturday or Sunday for breakfast / lunch?

I'm not arranging any dates/times at the moment as just wondering if anyone else would be interested first? 
                                                                                                                                                                             

There's loads of BM folk meet up at the Raven, cos it's roughly half way between the north west and west Midlands - just a question of naming the day and seeing how many turn up.
Quat is also popular, and well placed for Ironbridge and/or the RAF Museum - not that I need to tell you!

I have done a breakfast run up to the Raven to meet friends. It's an interesting run from here, but not a regular trip for me!
                                                                                                                                                                             

I guessed there would be folk on here going to either of these places, but thought if a certain day was posted up then we could have a better idea of who's going to be there on the day and so wouldn't be perhaps wondering if we were going to be bumping into a fellow BM'er on the day.

Okay, so there's a handful of us at the moment, so I'll keep bumping the post a week or two to see if there is anymore interest in this?

Yarg, if you look x5 posts up you'll see that I've just said that I'll be there all being well.

No one else has commented if they will be attending as a 'definate', so I'm leaving the invite open?

If people want to attend then good, it'll be nice to meet other fellow BM's on here, if not then it was an invitation not taken by others.

It's not an 'official' BM meet up, and I haven't put this up on as a calender events date, it's just an invitation to all BM members interested in meeting up on a day when there would be BM members there for definate, rather than wonder if there would be.

I'm planning on being there on the 19th Aug from 10am onwards anyhow.

Did anyone else turn up today... just wondering?

I awoke at 8am, thought I'd have an extra 5mins, but didn't quite work out that way.

Was about 10:45 when I got there, so if anyone did turn up and you didn't see me there around 10am then apologises about that. I did stay till around midday then thought looks like noone showed up from BM.

Mind you there weren't many folk on bikes when I arrived and when I went, which was disapointing anyhow.

Still wasn't a waste as I had a decent breakfast at the end of the day.

Just keep the posts going when your popping down there I'm sure people will start to populate this venue as a regular venue. 

We tend not to go down your way but there are places we do attend that we do meet other BM'ers and these regular meet ups started the same way..

Keep at it. 

I'll be arranging another one in a few weeks time, though think I'll make the next one a 'Sunday' insteed to see if that is of more interest?
