A few of us here on BM have decided that another night out in Edinburgh is called for  
With Christmas fast approaching , what better excuse is there for a party

Ok , been having a discussion or two and come up with a wee plan  

How about meeting at Whistle Binkies , 4 - 6 South Bridge ,EH1 1LL , for happy hour and live music @ 7.30pm then onto Banshees Labyrinth , Niddry Street , EH1 1LG for a wander through Edinburghs famous haunted underground streets while enjoying a wee tipple   
If anyone is still standing after a few hours then it's off down to Opium , 71 Cowgate , EH1 1JW , for a bit of alternate music to finish the night off

I know I'm going to sound like an old fart, but nothing gets me OUT of a pub faster than live music because I hate having to YELL at the top of my voice to be heard.... that's not fun.

I'm hardly an authority on Edinburgh pubs, but here's a few thoughts...

Malt Shovel, Cockburn Street
Cask & Barrel down on Broughton Street
The Cumberland, down on Cumberland Street

Quite like the idea of the underground streets place - Sharon and I went to Mary King's close a month or so ago and found it fascinating

The Malt Shovel sounds a plan . 
How about meeting for 6pm and we can have a blether over something to eat then take it from there

If the food at the Malt Shovel is limited or it's too busy, there's the Filling Station up on the high street, they should be able to accommodate us no problem. 

Think Teenybash is keen for an earlier start too, although not sure how long a night my liver can handle

Think it's still very much on. The prime suspects are planning to meet up at Tiles, on St Andrew Sq, around 1pm.
