BMers exchange phone numbers all the time

It's wise to be careful who you give it to though

Sorry for the confusion - but phone numbers, email addresses etc cannot be put onto your public profile.

If you're having a private conversation with someone you're welcome to share your phone number (at your own risk of course). Mass spamming your email address however via private message to everyone is also a big no-no (and we have alerts for that)
