Up for sale is my yzf750 genesis 11 mths mot 5 mts tax. Brand new front tyre, full service could be a winter project for someone loads spent but once warm it cuts out, starts again but then won't rev, once cool goes again for about a mile then same again,missing its screen and o/f indicator. Any interst pm me.

But seriously Riley, it could be something as simple as a blocked tank breather

Or one or more coils breaking down

When did you last fit new plugs

@kaz yea I know I'm good at running out of fuel buts its got some

@emzed it had full service inc plugs before mot its. Done less than 10 mile since pushed it round the grg more hence missing indicator.checked coils there doing what there suppose to not checked breathers though.

I think you have given a clue as to the problem Riley

I presume you had the tank off for the plug change etc. ? Often a trapped fuel/breather pipe can present these symptoms

Particularly with "vacuum" type fuel taps

Is yours a diaphram tap ? (Yams usually are

) Could be a classic case of fuel starvation m8

Don't abandon all hope yet

It's quite likely to be something minor

sounds like coils going to me. runs for while, gets hot then sulks. might be worth trying some replacements, new or borrowed, before giving up.
coils can do their trick for ages before finally failing for good.
