I'm looking at flying to France in september as much as I would like to take the Blackbird it is miles cheaper to fly (I'm in London for a concert so near Stansted anyway),£82 direct to Bergerac which is 60 miles from my friends house,accomodation and use of their spare car foc,as opposed to £65 ferry,similar european recovery,2000 miles of petrol (about £300) etc.The question here is has anyone here left a bike at Stansted,supposedly free parking but is there anywhere to leave bike kit (I'm intending to fly with hand luggage only),was bike ok,secure undamaged etc.You hear plenty of horror stories about car parking so don't want to risk bike being damaged/not being there when I get back!
Any advice appreciated.
