just wondering does anyone know why on my new triumph when i put the lights on only one side lights up then when i put high beam on that goes out and the other on comes on.and if theres any way to have both lights on at same time ???? confused.com

one is low beam the other is high beam ,hold pass switch on low beam

Presume its a 955i ? if so, you can add a couple of relays to make both work - wiring and relay slot is already there as US/foreign spec bikes come with both lights working (had to do the same on my old Tiger)..

just make sure you get the relays with the correct pin layout/numbering, otherwise it'll flatten your battery.. theres a link to another thread on that link above regarding the required pin layout/numbering...
