So what is the worst present you have ever been given.   Having just admitted to owning a Shaken Stevens album (best of) courtesy of my Gran, this is actually not the worst gift i've received.  That was a pale beige fringed handbag with attached faux flowers which my sister in law gave me with the words "if you don't like it, i love it and I will have it instead"....er no, just for that you won't.   Down to the charity shop it went.    Or maybe it was the compact perfume that she bought me which had fingerprints in it.   I know there has to be worse than that.                                                                                                                                                                                           

Every year from my exes family I got books, strange for someone who is into films!

So I ended up with a library that is full of useless info!

So yes your right, down to the charity shop they went!

One Xmas an elderly aunt who hadn't seen me for for many years came around to drop off some Xmas presents. I noticed her give me an odd look when she clapped eyes on me for the 1st time and a few days later when I opened her prezzie I found out why, 'twas a bottle of aftershave, and yes, the beard then was as it is today, just a tad less grey!

The worst present (although was an award from work, not really a present as such) was a pen and pencil set, supposedly really expensive in a posh box.    First time i used the pen, the innards shot out, the spring dissappeared and i couldn't figure out how it all went back together, so i slung it.     rather have had the money !!!
