After some discussion in chat it has been decided that we are going to try and organise a relay (actually 2) from John O Groats to Durham and Lands End to Durham to raise money for Deerness Kennels in Durham, they run Stray Action for Dogs. Please see pictures in my profile of Bonnie the rescue dog. I'm talking to them tomorrow and will post more after then

Have spoken to the kennels and they love the idea. Going to be weekend of 22nd and 23rd of September. Any help will be greatfully received and of course need volunteer riders to actually do the runs.

depending on what route you are taking i'm only about 8 miles from the A1 and have 2 spare rooms. There will have to be a fight for the single bed but if peeps want somewhere and bring their own sleep stuff they're welcome. Also have a settee......

I'll defo join you for some of the journey. I'm about 10mins from both A1 and M1 sapre double bed for couple of BMers. And plenty of floor space. Might even dust the cobwebs of the bbq!
