Geoff have you seen any pics of the new Honda I gave up waiting for Honda to replace the Blackbird and went for a BMW but would consider going back to a honda

There are no pics of the new bike mick other than the plastic mock up on the Honda website!! Which of course means that they are either keeping it very much under wraps, or it just ain't happening yet!!!

I had heard they were thinking of going for a V5 1200 based on the GP engine but that was awhile back

They've considered a number of things.  Not sure if the new V4 is going to have the variable cylinder thingie for starters. This is where, as well as varying between 2 valves and 4 valves per cylinder, the bike will actually vary the number of cylinders firing from 2 at low rev, low stress, through 3 cylinders all the way to 4 cylinders at high revs, high acceleration!

That sounds like a lot of things to go wrong. I had a Vtec car few years back which was awsome But every Honda bike Ive owned has had electrical problems so hopefully they will gwt it right

It is potentially, a lot of things to go wrong!  You are absolutely right and it could worry me.

Think they were just trying to balance the order of the universe with the hair thread TM, plus Geoff is just jealous he can't join it!
