*drags thread kicking & screaming into May*
I've just finished reading "The Five People you meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom... it's set me back by an hour *ahem* sorry Kev!
What a great read
& I just want to share a passage with you... it reflects on a few conversations I've been having recently but it puts it in a far better way than I've ever managed:
"Learn this from me. Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves."
Sums it up just so, IMO
Have a read of it... a simple story, told in a charming way... Although, I recommend a box of Kleenex nearby for those of a leaky-eyed disposition
*ahem*
