Significant progress chums Thumbs Up

Bike is bought! Went for a 1999 virago 535 and had a fab time wizzing round Scottish country roads on it yesterday and YEAY, it's absolutely the right bike for me and no tentative pootling I was away straight away....no probs at. And it was ggrrrrrrrreeeaaatt!

Just got to go back up to Perth with a van next weekend to bring it back then I'm away Big smile

Cheers NHM....It's 7 weeks since I've ridden a bike & I was really really nervous.

My confidence has taken a bit of a bashing looking at all these different bikes over recent weeks and finally reaching the conclusion that I'm just not ready to attempt a different style of bike just yet

My mate took the bike to a really quiet country lane then said, 'right off you go'

As soon as I started letting out the clutch out it was just so bloomin fandabbydozy riding that bike. It's absolutely the right bike for me at the moment....oooh what fun I had LOL

Wasn't expecting to be wizzing off for miles on it, but in the end the only thing that brought me back was it was so bloody freezing & only wearing jeans....bbbbrrrrrr!
