kwak i've spoken to a few 'old faces' this past couple of weeks and they've all said it's getting too much like FB and not enough about bikes anymore Thumbs Down   So the regulars haven't gone over to FB then Rusty? Not sure what is meant by BM is getting too much like FB. When I used to be on FB it was mainly teenagers leaving messages for each other full of cuss words. One of the reasons I quit it, too juvenile for me.    As for 'not enough about bikes', this is a site for bikers to meet up and socialise, are you telling me that most bikers only ever want to talk about, and read about, bikes?  No wonder they're single lol  J/K   Totally Confused

This conversation happens on a regular basis, people evolve new faces join old ones leave for a variety of reason.

I agree with Shell there has been a lot of stuff happening recently which i think is great, more camping less one day ride outs i agree.

I have looked at my calendar and since end of May i have had an event every weekend since and goes right upto end of Sept (blimey no wonder i'm knackered lol)

But the forums will be thick and fast once the crap weather joins us

Totally agree with you Jackie,  as in past trends alot of 'newbies'  join during the winter months.   As for the original title.. whatever happened to....      I think some of the 'original' members still check in now and again and I have seen a few 'old  faces' out and about, some have said they will be re-joining, probably because the winters coming and they won't be out and about as much.

Some people also talk alot of crap about bikes as well. It takes all sorts and I think alot of the ladies arn't that interested in the workings of motorcycles. I'm quite happy to give advice if somebody is having problems but I joined to meet like minded people and widen my circle of friends.
So bring on the bike chat and the crap chat aswell

So why don't those who find the topics crap post some interesting topics of their own?   Altho I am glad others are getting out and having a life, I'd be doing the same if I had the chance, I'm sad cos I'm stuck in, almost 24/7, so the rides out are the only way I can get out, if someone is kind enough to give me a lift.     Ironic really, that I deal with the events calendar yet rarely go anywhere.   (I'll be ok when I find where my dummy went when I spat it out) LOL
