yes its just in case aint it but they will get used to it if they are looked after and safe, you can always phone them while you away x

I only been riding a year, had my big bike 4 months cannot even begin to think of what I did before I had it

I've owned at least 2 working bikes simultaneously for the last 25 years or so precisely so that I never have to be able to answer that question.

That's the key - two bikes! I'm working on my other half on getting a "back up" bike, nothing too over top tho, maybe an s1000rr in case my trusty fazer decides to not play ball.
