I'm afraid people driving past ignoring one is a common occurence round the Guildford area..............used to happen a lot to me when I used to ride my old Moto guzzis, (which spent at least 50% of their time broken down) I even had a police car or two drive past and ignore me! I had 3 vehicles stop, 1) two little old ladies, 2) a disabled guy on a trike and 3) a white van man!

The Police never stop... but if they're already stopped and watching you, they do at least have the grace to give you a round of applause when you get your motor running again Wink

D'oh! Annoying when that happens Kaz! Did you try backpaging on your browser? Sometimes that works and you can resurrect your original post... or sit there typing it in Word, then C&P it to here when you sneak online quickly Big smile

Then if you lose the post, at least you don't lose the text... or the plot Big smile

Mega congrats to all concerned.  Good to hear that you all managed to get to and from Matlock with no major hiccups! Keep up the practice, and you won't need that £500 of lessons!!!

LOL That's why it's less confusing and best to use user/member names on the site and in chat room.
