Well although I don't ride at the moment myself...have been pillion for thousands and thousands of miles in ALL weathers all the year round...I just love being out on a bike...especially at night...it is quite beautiful...luckily so far...I have been ok...you never know when it could happen...so you don't think about it...like my driving...I am particularly careful in adverse driving conditions...so I know I will be the same when I get a bike myself sometime this year! There will be no stopping me then!

if your wet n cold your reactions become stiff an slow an yu dont realise it when on a long stretch an then havin to negotiate a roundabout or sharp bend you suddenly realise it!you have to slow everythin down!an get of an warmup more than normal with hot drinks etc!especially as me ole bones aint wat they used to be!!

Oh me and the ex used to just jump into a shower afer a very cold run out and then into bed...no better way to warm up!
