Well, got back from "No Bull" yesterday and really have mixed feelings about it now.
I own up to being one of the few who "Bang on" about this event, on here every year and try to get people to try it.
It has been really good and still is great value for a 3 night weeekend.
However, there were a lot more people there this year and a lot of Cars, Vans, Camper Vans and even a few Caravans.  Err "No Bull, JUST beer and Bikes"?. I realise that these are hard times and people have to maximise thier income but, it did feel like more like a festival than a bike event this weeekend.
The toilets couldn't cope with the numbers and the solution was to put one more portaloo on the end of a row instead of pumping them out.
To be fair they do have a proper toilet block in the main area but even that was without water while they sorted them for a while. These things happen but if you want to grow an event you need to be prepared.
Having said that, the free showers are great and they still run you into Builth on the Tractor which is unique. The setting is absolutaley beautiful too and entertainment is really good.

It was great camping with "Blackberry" Karen and Neil "lamedan", not sure if I've got that right?. We had a good laugh but didn't get to the bar at 6pm on Saturday, sorry.
Karen and Neil and "Duke" Tom, so sorry again that we ended up leaving you behind on the way back. Down to lack of communication and dozey mates.

Still a good place to go, they work hard to put on this event, very friendly too. Going to go back in August and see how it goes. Great to see "Sachsy Sue" again too

Cracking weekend and thanks Clarkee for looking after us.    Lovely to meet Tom (Dukez) and catch up with DesRes.   Super weather help me cope with the camping lol, those camper vans looked far more suitable for me Big smile
